Tens of thousands of troops are deployed out of and return to New Jersey every year. Operation Homefront is a four-star rated charity whose mission is to “provide emergency and morale assistance for our troops, the families they leave behind and for the wounded warriors when they return home.”
Barclay has raised funds and boosted awareness for the non-profit Operation Homefront chapter serving the region continuously since 2011. To support their efforts Barclay initiated a sales campaign that directs a portion of the proceeds of hydraulic and electric pallet jack sales to OH.
We are pleased to announce the continuation of the promotion “Buy a Jack, Help a Soldier” throughout the 2015-year. Barclay has committed to donate 10 percent of the proceeds from your purchase of any hydraulic pallet jack to support our local soldiers and their families.
Our employees are proud to join the mission by participating in events throughout the year including the “Tees and Jeans Day” drive on Veteran’s Day and most impressively teamed up to adopt five local military families thru OH’s Adopt-A-Family Holiday program. This program provides a Holiday meal and gifts to the children of Military families who are struggling.
Barclay employs numerous veterans, several served in Iraq and Afghanistan. "Our employees are very community-oriented and wanted to do something to give back," says spokeswoman Cathy Kenvin. "They recognize the sacrifice that was made."
At Barclay we will continue to participate in events that benefit our local soldiers and their families. If you need to purchase a jack, please consider us and help thank and support soldiers in the tri-state area.
